who I am...
I am a human person with a penchant for reading between the lines. I received my PhD in Rhetoric from the Department of Writing Studies at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. My work lies at the intersection of situated literacies and rhetorical studies. My dissertation focuses on race, critical community literacy, and the public sphere, for example. I currently work as an Assistant Professor of Rhetoric-Composition at Regis University in Denver, Colorado where I continue to enjoy teaching writing. I'm an anti-racist intersectional feminist, a taco fiend, and a fan of "slow" everything.
